RDR2 Trapper Locations — All 5, Plus Every Legendary Craft
There are five Trappers in the game and they all share one stock, so it does not matter which you use. What matters is knowing which legendary pelt turns into which piece of gear before you go hunting.

The Trapper icon on your map is a paw print. Stock is shared between all five, so a pelt handed in at Saint Denis can be crafted anywhere.
Three rules worth knowing first
- Legendary pelts can only go to the Trapper. A regular butcher will not take them, and you cannot sell them for cash the way you sell ordinary pelts.
- You do not lose the pelt by selling it. Hand it in and it stays available for crafting forever — you are not choosing between money and gear.
- Most items need a perfect ordinary pelt too. Bring a perfect Bison, Bull or Goat hide along or you will be sent away.
